The turbo nozzle continues to be one of the most popular pressure washer accessories because of its effectiveness in removing stubborn grime. It is brilliant for removing, algae, mildew, moss, graffiti, paint, gum, barnacles, cement, mud, rust etc.
So, who invented the turbo nozzle?...
There are many claims to be the first to manufacture this useful attachment. Over the years it has accumulated many different names i.e. Dirt blaster, Dirt Killer, Rotary Nozzle, Rotating nozzle, Rotary Turbo Nozzle, Dirt blaster, Turbo Head, Turbo Blaster, etc..
There are a few claims that it was invented by Mr Josef Kränzle from Germany.
How does the turbo nozzle work?...
The nozzle concentrates the pressure jet into a pencil spray which enhances the surface impact and dirt-penetration by around double that of the 25o flat fan.
This pencil jet rotates, creating a whirlwind type spray action which delivers a 20o conical spray pattern. This greatly increases the speed and efficiency of cleaning.
